Jassa to star in War for the Planet of the Apes video game

Jassa has recently wrapped principal photography on a groundbreaking video game that will accompany War for the Planet of the Apes. He will feature as a human character with his likeness.

The game will be an interactive movie and has been created by Andy Serkis' pioneering Imaginarium Studios. The director is gaming veteran Steve Kniebihly (The Witcher 3, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls).

Andy Serkis announced the project at New York Comic-Con earlier this month:

Look at your man, now back to me. #TheImaginariumStudios

"I don't think it's ever been done before...we created it at the Imaginarium, which is my studio. Without giving too much away about it, it's not like a first-person shooter. It feels like an interactive movie. And that's all I can say other than that it will be coming out around the same time as the movie...it's a companion piece, it's not based on the characters from this movie."

No other information about the project has yet been released.
